What if the city could dream?

I have developed an audio-visual concept for the Estonian Architecture Awards 2020 ceremony. Due to the lockdown, the event was held online, so the visuals needed to be intense and clearly illustrate the narrative.

My video uses cartographic data of Tallinn’s buildings, where each box represents the geographic location of a building (better seen in Video #1). The movement of these boxes in subsequent videos symbolizes the city’s growth and constant evolution.

Video is created and rendered in TouchDesigner. Tallinn building data is parsed from MapaCad data file.
